Hi, I’m Alex!

For as long as I can remember, I’ve loved two things: capturing memories and talking to strangers.

Anyone who knows me knows I’m always taking videos. Not necessarily because anything particularly exciting is happening, but because I want to remember it. The little moments, the people, the laughs, the random things that would otherwise fade with time.

To me, videos are little time capsules. How lucky are we that we get to press a button, capture a moment, and years later, actually feel like we’re back there? You can hear someone’s voice, see the way they laughed, watch the way your friends looked at you — and suddenly, you’re right back in that moment.

I’ve also always loved talking to strangers and hearing their stories. Back in high school, I started doing something I called “Stranger Stories,” where I would walk up to people I’d never met and interview them about their lives. I loved how a simple conversation could give me a glimpse into someone’s world — someone I probably never would have crossed paths with otherwise.

Candid Cuts is where these two passions come together.

I get to capture the moments you’ll want to remember years from now and get to know the people who make your life so special. I’ll ask your guests the questions you might not think to ask — what they love about you, their favorite memories, their best marriage advice, the stories that make them laugh — and weave those voices into the moments happening all around you.

Because your wedding day isn’t just about what it looked like.

It’s about how it felt, who was there, what they said, and all the little moments you never want to forget.

And I feel pretty lucky that I get to help you hold onto all of it.
